Pet Protection Policy

At Pets N Such, we love animals as much as you do!  And we do our best to make sure our animals are given the best possible care and attention while they are with us.  We will gladly provide any information and advice you need to make sure you choose the pet that’s best for your family, and your home.

Pets N Such guarantees that each of our animals is in good health, and will stay that way for 7 days after you bring it home.  Of course, we can’t guarantee the temperament of behavior of any animal.

Pets N Such has a generous replacement policy for all of our animals.  The guarantee is for replacement only; there are no refunds.  We promise to replace your pet for illness or death that occurs within 7 days after purchase.  We are not able to be responsible for incidental or consequential damages such as veterinarian expenses, and we are not able to refund monies for problems such as allergies, or incompatibility with your family.  We are also not able to issue refunds for extras (such as cages or bedding) you may have purchased for your pet.

Pets N Such encourages the adoption of animals, but asks that you carefully consider the responsibilities of being a pet owner.  Pets should never be purchased on impulse!  Please consider the time and expense it takes to provide your new friend with the care and attention it needs.

Remember that when you purchase your pet, you take full responsibility for its care.  Parents purchasing a pet for a child should carefully consider whether the child is ready for the important responsibilities of owning a pet.

Kittens Come First at Pets N Such!

Pets N Such wants to make sure your kitten remains happy and healthy throughout its nine lives!  All our kittens have been examined by a veterinarian and given their first vaccinations for FCRCP.

Here’s some additional information on how to best care for your kitty!

• We strongly urge you to have your kitten spayed or neutered as recommended by a veterinarian.
• Our veterinarian does the initial exam, gives the first set of shots, and de-worms the kitten.  Pets N Such recommends that you take your kitten to the veterinarian of your choice as soon as possible for a more thorough examination, especially if you have other pets at home.
• Kittens are friendly, people-loving animals that can be very independent.  If your kitten needs discipline, we recommend a spray bottle filled with water. This will deter your kitten from bad behavior!
• Pets N Such recommends nutritional food, such as Nutro Kitten, Iams and Science Diet, in wet or dry form, or a combination of the two.  Your kitten should be fed kitten foods in the first year, so that he or she has the right amount of nutrients to grow healthy and strong.
• Put your kitten’s litter box in a location that’s convenient for him to use, but make sure it is away from the busy areas of your home.  Keep the litter box clean so your kitten will continue to use it.
