PUPPY POLICY

Pets N Such hopes that by giving rescue animals the exposure to more people, they will find loving homes. When adopting these dogs:

1. You accept the knowledge that their medical history is unknown.
2. You should arrange to have any animal seen by your veterinarian within a reasonable amount of time and assume responsibility for continuing medical care.
3. We suggest that if you have other animals in the home, a veterinarian be seen before taking the animal into your home.
4. Any breed information regarding mix or size is “our best guess.”

Pets N Such will do everything we can to insure the health of these animals. We will get all the history that is known about them. Considering their situation, very little history may be available. We will do our best to insure you adopt a happy healthy dog. We will give you as much information as possible concerning the dogs health, temperament and advice on whether the animal would be a good “fit” with your lifestyle, based on our observations while the dog is with us. These are only our opinions, and should not be considered true medical facts.

Pets N Such cares about you and your new pet. We also care about any animals you presently have. It is our desire to provide the best medical care to the dogs we offer for adoption. But with rescue situations, problems sometimes occur. There is a possibility that a disease may lay dormant and undetectable for the short time they are with us. Your veterinarian should be able to advise you on any additional medical care needed. We will never INTENTIONALLY sell a “sick” dog.

Pets N Such reserves the right to refuse an adoption if we feel the temperament of the animal does not match your family/lifestyle. At the time of adoption, papers with the information regarding current vaccines, services provided by our veterinarian and our veterinarian’s findings will be provided to you. Our veterinarians name and phone number will be made available to you for your convenience.
